Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Don Village – Lan Ngoai Brocade Village – Hieu Waterfall

Meals included: Lunch, Dinner

Morning: Drive to the Mountains

1.07:00 — Departure from Hanoi:Hotel Pick-up.

Our vehicle and tour guide pick you up at your hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter (or designated office) for the 180 km (approx. 4-hour) drive to Pu Luong.

2.09:00 — Rest Stop at Hoa Binh:15-minute break.

Stop briefly in Hoa Binh to stretch your legs and refresh before continuing into the mountain roads.

3.11:30 — Arrival & Local Lunch:Homestay Check-in.

Arrive in Pu Luong, check into your homestay accommodation, and enjoy a delicious lunch of regional dishes.

Afternoon & Evening: Thai Villages & Refreshing Waterfall

• 13:30 | Don Village & Lan Ngoai Craft Village

  Depart for Don Village by motorbike or car to explore the peaceful daily life of the Thai ethnic community amidst forests and terraced hillsides.

  En route to the waterfall, stop at Lan Ngoai Brocade Village to discover traditional hand-weaving crafts and local Thai textile traditions.

• 15:00 | Cool Off at Hieu Waterfall

  Arrive at Hieu Waterfall, famous for its three distinct cascading levels. Enjoy time swimming in the cool, clear natural pools surrounded by lush green foliage.

• 17:30 | Return to Homestay — Relax and unwind after your afternoon exploration.

• 19:00 | Dinner & Free Evening — Savor a homestay-cooked dinner and enjoy your evening at leisure.

Day 2: Eo Ken Village – Bo Muoi Cave – Mai Chau Cycling Tour

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Morning: Valley Trek & Cave Exploration (10 km Trek)

• 07:30 | Breakfast — Enjoy breakfast at the homestay.

• 08:30 | Trek through Eo Ken & Hang Village

  Drive 30 minutes to the ancient fig tree in Eo Ken Village. Begin trekking down into the valley, admiring sweeping views of wild villages and terraced rice fields.

  • Cross stream bridges to reach Hang Village.

  • Explore Bo Muoi Cave, marveling at untouched, naturally sculpted stalactite formations.

  • Continue to Phu Le Village, another serene Thai ethnic settlement, before meeting our vehicle.

Afternoon: Mai Chau Cycling & Return

• 11:30 | Mai Chau Arrival & Lunch — Arrive in Mai Chau valley for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. Take time to browse handmade local brocade items.

• 13:00 | Cycling Lac 1 & Lac 2 Villages — Hop on bicycles for a 1.5-hour gentle ride through Lac 1 and Lac 2 villages, connecting with locals amidst rural stilt houses and peaceful valley scenery.

• 15:00 – 16:30 | Return to Pu Luong — Board the vehicle back to your homestay in Pu Luong to rest and prepare for dinner.

• 19:00 | Dinner — Enjoy dinner and overnight rest at the homestay.

Day 3: Doan Market – Water Wheels – River Kayaking/Rafting – Hanoi

Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch

Morning: Local Market, Water Wheels & River Adventure

• 07:30 | Breakfast & Doan Market

  Wake up early to catch mountain clouds drifting over the peaks. Following breakfast, visit Doan Street Market to shop for local souvenirs and regional specialties (note: weekly market held on Thursdays and Sundays).

• 09:00 | Cham Stream, Water Wheels & Kayaking/Rafting

  Head to Cham Stream to see giant traditional bamboo water wheels (water wheels).

  • Participate in exciting kayaking or bamboo rafting along the gentle river.

  • Enjoy an optional swim in Cham stream on the return walk.

Afternoon: Lunch & Return to Hanoi

• 12:00 | Lunch & Check-out — Savor a final lunch and rest before loading luggage into the vehicle.

• 13:00 | Return Journey — Depart Pu Luong for your drive back to Hanoi.

• 18:30 | Arrival in Hanoi Old Quarter — Drop-off at your hotel in the center of the Old Quarter, concluding your 3-day mountain adventure.
