08:00 – Pick-Up: Our knowledgeable, English-speaking guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi. Relax in a comfortable, air-conditioned 7 seat car or 9 seat limousine as we head south toward Ninh Binh, known for its stunning landscapes and rich cultural heritage.
09:15 – Comfort Stop: Take a short 15–20 minute break to stretch your legs, enjoy the fresh countryside air, and prepare for the day ahead.
10:15 – Explore History: Arrive at Hoa Lư, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. Here, you’ll walk through well-preserved temples and historical relics while learning about the reigns of the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties. This visit offers a fascinating glimpse into Vietnam’s feudal past and its resilient spirit.
12:00 – Local Dining: Enjoy a delicious local lunch at Ninh Binh Restaurant. Savor a variety of local specialties, including tender mountain goat, crispy spring rolls, savory grilled fish, fragrant fried rice, and fresh vegetable salads. Vegetarian options are always available upon request.
13:30 – Sampan Boat Tour: Board a traditional sampan boat for a peaceful two+ hour journey through Trang An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Glide along serene waterways, passing through mysterious tunnel caves and towering limestone karsts. As you float past ancient temples and hidden grottoes, you’ll understand why this landscape is often called the "Inland Ha Long Bay."
16:00 – Summit Hike: Arrive at Mua Cave and begin your ascent up nearly 500 stone steps to the summit of Lying Dragon Mountain. At the top, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of Tam Coc’s rice paddies and meandering rivers. In the summer, the nearby lotus fields add an extra touch of beauty to the landscape.
17:30 – Depart Ninh Binh: Relax in the limousine bus as we begin our comfortable return to Hanoi.
19:30 – Hotel Drop-off: Drop-off at your hotel, marking the end of an unforgettable day of exploration.
